After experimenting with a hex grid on Illustrator, I decided to use it to make an isometric pattern.
When I started this project it was tough to break my boundaries, and not do just cube after cube after cube. I initially created a seamless pattern using a hex grid, and when I originally made this it was all just shades of purple. By choosing to experiment more with the colors, I ended up with a color scheme of purple, pink, and orange. Upon revisiting this project and revising it, I added the teal colors to add another dimension, and added the shaded triangle shapes to add another level of shape.
