Susan Perry
I am a recent graduate receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Media & Design at SUNY Alfred State College. I have also received my Associate Degree in Graphic Media & Design, and graduated with a vocational degree in Media Communications from Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES.
I am currently employed as a Graphic Designer for Northern Lights Candles in Wellsville, New York. At NLC, I am a member of the marketing team as well as the product development team. On the marketing team, I assist with photography as well as design layout for promotional email campaigns. On the product development team, I am responsible for photographing products and assisting with packaging designs (boxes, labels, and toppers).
I practice my art in many forms including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and videography.
While much of my art leans more towards the abstract end of the spectrum, I believe strongly in storytelling through my art. This is apparent in works such as "A Burial For My Past: A Self Portrait," but my storytelling is more abstracted in works such as "No Place Like Home."
While I do enjoy creating, I specialize in Graphic Design. This includes logo design, poster design, ad design, packaging design, and more.
